Wrinkle filling treatments and lip contouring

Static wrinkles and furrows can be corrected with injecting dermal fillers into the skin. The fillers are injected into the treated area with a fine needle. Wrinkle filling treatments are most frequently used to treat nasolabial folds and wrinkles on the forehead, between the eyebrows, around the mouth, on the cheek and chin areas.

The fillers, such as hyaluronic acid (HA), are also used to correct the vermilion border (including lip contouring and augmentation) and face shape.

The most common biodegradable fillers, slowly assimilated by the body, persist up to 12 months. Hyaluronic acid as one of the biodegradable fillers is a natural compound in the skin that declines with age and therefore is one of the causes of skin aging. The applied filler plays an important role in the skin as it restores hydration and the volume of hypodermis.
